A perfectly imperfect Indian console table. If you like your furniture full of character and charm then this is the piece for you. A very unique console table with carved detail, this piece features a fold down top (see images). The legs are also held rigid with metal struts which are slotted into metal brackets on the base. These are removable but they do hold the table rigid so it’s advisable to keep them in situ. The piece has been painted in blue and turquoise paints with heavy distressing to give the impression of age. There’s plenty of dings and dents in this piece along with a few cracks in the wood. Instead of covering these up, they have been embraced to give the piece its unique character and charm. The piece has been painted front and back and has been sealed with a wax finish.
