A superb untouched example of a large, antique mule chest, constructed from solid oak. It has a hinged lid at the top with retaining chain and a single drawer at the bottom which both make for excellent storage spaces. It is in original condition. There is a split on the lid but it doesn’t affect the functionality of the piece (see images). It has some knocks and bumps commensurate with age. Please see images for details.
