This modern chest of 8 drawers is made from solid pine with ply wood bases and back. It’s been painted using various techniques to apply texture, distressing and age with the use of layering clay paint in a vivid green over a dark brown. Black wax has been used to further age the piece and add depth and dimension. Red numbers on each drawer contrast against the green giving an industrial feel and black cup handles complete the look. The drawer interiors have been cleaned and oiled to treat and nourish the wood.
