This piece is a bold one! The original wax finish was carefully stripped to the raw wood to preserve the beautiful patina and rustic character. It has then been painted with layers of Terra Clay Paint in tones of yellow and green with pops of pink on the drawer fronts. It has then been heavily distressed to reveal the wood underneath and sealed with a durable varnish. Finally black wax has been added to create  further depth and dimensions to the colours. The drawer inners have been cleaned and treated with a scented furniture wax to nourish the wood grain. This piece could be used as a console table or a desk.
