This sideboard is constructed of solid wood with dovetail joints on the drawers. It’s been painted using a green colour palette with a blending technique emphasising the original detail. It has ample storage space with 2 cupboards and 3 drawers. The original handles have been replaced with antique brass ‘pumpkin’ style handles. The interior has been cleaned and oiled to nourish and enhance the wood grain which constraints beautifully against the green paint work. The back has also been painted. The top has been finished in a durable varnish with a soft sheen and the rest of the piece has been finished with clear and brown wax to create extra shading and dimension.
The dimensions are 100cm wide, 40cm deep, 80cm high.
