This sweet console table has been painted using a salmon pink shade called Cottage Door with a colour fade technique which exposes the wood grain and gently fades out to the pink shade. Dark wax has been used to give further depth and dimension. The original handles retain the character of this piece and have been cleaned and dusted with gold gilding wax. The underneath and back have been painted in a contrasting blue shade. This piece  could work as a desk, console table or hallway storage due to its versatile size. The dimensions are 76.5cm wide, 41cm deep and 78cm high. The kneehole section is 58cm high from the floor.
